WazirX Launches ‘Guardians of Trust’ for 16 Million Users, Introducing Security Updates, Proof of Reserves, Fraud Awareness Campaigns, and Transparency Tools as Crypto Platforms Increase Focus on Compliance and Digital Asset Protection

Indian crypto exchange WazirX, with its ongoing efforts to enhance transparency, bolster security messaging, and inform users about the risks within the rapidly changing crypto landscape, has initiated a new trust and safety program called “Guardians of Trust.”

As global adoption of cryptocurrencies steadily gains momentum, so do various concerns regarding scams, phishing attacks, and digital asset security. According to WazirX, the new hub will streamline all security updates, infrastructure enhancements, transparency reports, and user education resources into one platform, with registered users on its platform reaching over 16 million.

New Safety Hub Focuses on Transparency and Security

The “Guardians of Trust” page will offer frequent information on platform-level security initiatives, operating safeguards, and infrastructure improvements, the company said.

The most important parts of the whitepaper will be “How WazirX Protects You,” which will elaborate on the exchange’s security architecture and its collaboration with global custody and infrastructure partners like BitGo and Fireblocks.

The platform will also release third-party audit reports, Proof of Reserves updates, and other transparency reports when these are available.

Trust is earned when users understand what we’re doing and how they can keep themselves safe, WazirX founder Nischal Shetty pointed out. Guardians of Trust puts our security updates and safety education in one place, giving users greater clarity and fewer blind spots.”

User Education Becomes a Core Focus

In addition to the platform’s infrastructure improvements, WazirX is also prioritising user awareness and preventing fraud.

The “How You Can Protect Yourself” section aims to raise awareness among users of the various possible risks (phishing, investment scams, fake links, fraudulent crypto schemes). Additionally, the page will offer best practices on how to engage in digital asset markets safely.

In this regard, WazirX will launch an awareness initiative, “Bacche Bacche Ko Pata Hai”, which would be based on the social media platform. The goal of the campaign is to make difficult crypto safety principles easy to comprehend and understand for normal customers.

The exchange added that the program will reach users via digital channels to provide them with practical information on how they can recognize risks, prevent financial losses, and make informed investment decisions.

Crypto Platforms Push for Greater Trust and Compliance

The launch comes as part of a wider market shift in which crypto exchanges are focusing more on transparency, compliance, and security as a result of many recent market failures and cyber attacks.

The initiative aims to introduce “more regular, more visible and more useful” trust and safety communication in today’s highly complex digital finance landscape, WazirX said.

The exchange is still growing its security measures and customer-centric approaches, and it continues to add more cryptocurrencies to its trading platform.
