Crypto investigator ZachXBT plans a new support website for fraud cases, with access restrictions for seven countries. On August 22, ZachXBT announced the plan through Telegram, citing problems with authorities handling crypto theft cases.

The proposed system could automatically reject requests from Canada, the UK, India, Nigeria, Morocco, Algeria, and Bangladesh. ZachXBT says local agencies often fail to act on blockchain evidence or provide enough help to victims.

ZachXBT ranked Canada, the UK, India, and Nigeria among his worst jurisdictions for victim cases. He also grouped Morocco, Algeria, and Bangladesh into another low-ranked category for support requests.

The planned filter would let ZachXBT focus investigative resources on cases with stronger cooperation. The move could reduce investigative support for victims facing complex scams or stolen funds.

Canada received strong criticism after ZachXBT described problems involving evidence shared with authorities. He said agencies sometimes received detailed threat information but still failed to provide enough assistance. He also called Toronto a major fraud center while criticizing Canadian authorities over cases.

India also drew criticism over cases involving frozen funds and alleged Lazarus Group connections. ZachXBT claimed Indian authorities contacted him for assistance in crypto investigations involving frozen assets. He also alleged officials once confused a phishing website with a legitimate crypto platform during an investigation.

ZachXBT described his proposed restrictions as a response to case experiences, rather than victim wrongdoing. He wrote, “likely automatically reject” when discussing future requests from the listed jurisdictions.

The statement has triggered debate over whether location should determine access to crypto investigation support. Supporters say selective case intake could help ZachXBT use limited resources more effectively.

Critics argue victims should retain access regardless of local law enforcement performance. The website launch date, final access rules, and appeal process remain undisclosed as of August 24.
