    Supply chain tracking has moved toward blockchain for a fairly straightforward reason. Several companies handling shipments do not fully trust each other’s internal records. Healthcare data sharing across providers follows a similar logic for similar reasons. Meanwhile, inventory systems and customer databases keep running fine on traditional platforms, where speed and easy edits matter more than shared verification.
