India Blockchain Week (IBW) Conference 2026 will take place on November 1-2 at Fairmont Mumbai, bringing together participants from India and the global blockchain industry. Hashed Emergent will host the fourth edition of the event ahead of Devcon.

The two-day Blockchain Week Conference in India will feature founders, developers, investors, financial institutions, enterprises, policymakers, and other industry participants. This year, organizers are also introducing the Institutional Forum and Future Asset Forum as part of the wider program.

IBW 2026 to Take Place in Mumbai Ahead of Devcon

India Blockchain Week 2026 will serve as the main conference within a wider week of blockchain and Web3 events across Mumbai. The program will focus on areas including blockchain infrastructure, decentralized finance, tokenization, artificial intelligence, digital identity and consumer applications.

The conference will also include keynote sessions, panel discussions and fireside conversations. In addition, attendees will have access to networking sessions, startup showcases and community-led events scheduled during the week.

Hashed Emergent Managing Director and CEO Tak Lee said India has developed a major presence in the global Web3 sector through its developer and founder communities.

“India has firmly established itself as one of the world’s most important Web3 ecosystems, with developers, founders, and builders playing a central role in its growth,” Lee said.

He added that IBW aims to connect Web3 companies with financial institutions, regulators, enterprises and policymakers as blockchain use expands into more areas of finance and business.

IBW Launches Institutional Forum and Future Asset Forum

A new Institutional Forum will form part of India Blockchain Week Conference 2026. Organizers described it as India’s first invite-only forum focused on institutional blockchain adoption.

The forum will bring together representatives from banks, financial institutions, enterprises, regulatory bodies and government policy groups. Discussions will cover real-world blockchain applications, financial infrastructure and the use of distributed technology across business operations.

Meanwhile, the Future Asset Forum will focus on digital assets linked to artificial intelligence. It will examine how AI can create new types of digital assets and how blockchain and tokenization can connect those assets with traditional financial systems.

“The launch of our two new sub-forums, the Institutional Forum and the Future Asset Forum, reflects the continued evolution of the Web3 ecosystem in India,” Lee said.

IBW Builds on Previous Editions and Global Participation

India Blockchain Week reported more than 3,500 attendees at its previous edition. Earlier conferences have also featured executives, founders and developers from major blockchain projects.

Past speakers have included Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Base founder Jesse Pollak, Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal, Eigen Labs CEO Sreeram Kannan and Aptos Labs co-founder and CEO Avery Ching.

Previous editions also received support from a wide range of blockchain and digital asset companies. Sponsors have included Aptos Foundation, Binance, Cardano, Polygon, Coinbase, Tether, Bitget, Ledger, Avalanche and Bybit.

Other participating companies have included CoinSwitch, BitGo, XDC, Starknet, Supra, NEAR Protocol, Sui, Liminal and Pi42.

The 2026 conference will expand its program around institutional participation, policy discussions, and enterprise blockchain adoption. With the event scheduled immediately before Devcon, IBW will bring together Indian and international industry participants in Mumbai during the first week of November.
