SunCrypto and Bybit offer different benefits for Indian crypto traders, from INR trading and local services to global markets and lower basic trading fees.

SunCrypto and Bybit offer two very different ways to trade crypto. Bybit is a global exchange with a wide range of markets and lower basic trading fees. SunCrypto, in comparison, is an FIU-registered crypto exchange in India and focuses more on building an India-oriented crypto trading and investing ecosystem.

While Bybit has a spot fee of 0.10% for both makers and takers, SunCrypto’s standard spot fee is 0.40% for INR trades and 0.25% for USDT trades. The Crypto Exchange offers more than 600 trading pairs, futures, Crypto SIPs starting at Rs. 100, staking, and USDT-to-INR conversion. GST also applies to its trading fees.

For Indian traders, the choice isn’t just about the number shown next to a trading fee. Bybit became FIU-IND registered in 2025 after facing restrictions earlier that year. SunCrypto is also FIU-registered and operates as an India-focused exchange. Taxes, INR conversion, deposits, and withdrawals can all change the final cost for a trader.

What Does an Indian Trader Actually Pay?

The real cost of a crypto trade depends on more than the headline trading fee. On SunCrypto, traders pay a higher spot trading fee on INR trades, along with GST. This can make the total cost higher when buying and selling crypto.

Bybit has a lower standard spot trading fee, which can make it cheaper for traders who make frequent transactions. However, Indian users may also need to consider USDT conversion costs, spreads and withdrawal charges.

So, while Bybit may look cheaper at first glance, the final cost can change once you add conversion and withdrawal expenses. SunCrypto’s INR-focused setup may offer a simpler route for traders who want to deposit, trade, and withdraw in Indian rupees.
