SunCrypto offers recurring crypto investments in India, with amounts starting at Rs. 100 for certain assets. Users can schedule weekly or monthly purchases of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other supported tokens, though the plans remain exposed to price declines and do not guarantee returns.

SunCrypto has announced its continued focus on crypto systematic investment plans in India, offering users a way to make fixed, recurring purchases of digital assets. The Jaipur-based exchange said the service supports investors who want to build holdings over time through a regular investment schedule.

The platform allows users to choose an asset, set an investment amount and select a purchase frequency. Its announcement presents the service as an option for long-term investors seeking fewer decisions about when to enter the market.

    How SunCrypto’s Crypto SIP Works

A crypto SIP divides investments into scheduled purchases rather than committing the entire amount at once. Each installment buys more units when an asset’s price falls and fewer units when its price rises. This process changes the average purchase cost over time.

SunCrypto illustrated the approach with four monthly investments of Rs. 1,000. At prices of Rs. 100, Rs. 80, Rs. 50, and Rs. 100 per unit, an investor would accumulate 52.5 units for Rs. 4,000. The average purchase price would be approximately Rs. 76.19 per unit, before any applicable charges.

By comparison, investing Rs. 4,000 at the initial price of Rs. 100 would purchase 40 units. However, this example reflects one price sequence. Recurring purchases do not guarantee a lower average cost, and a single purchase can perform better when prices rise throughout the investment period.

    Investment Options and Account Requirements

According to SunCrypto, users can configure recurring purchases through its app after funding their INR wallet. They can then select a supported asset, choose a weekly or monthly schedule and enter the amount allocated to each purchase.

The company said starting amounts can be as low as Rs. 100 per cycle for certain assets. Its announcement mentions Bitcoin and Ethereum among the available choices. It also lists PAXG, a gold-backed token, as an option for recurring investments.

Users need enough money in their wallet for scheduled purchases to proceed. SunCrypto said it does not charge penalties for missed cycles, although insufficient funds can result in skipped purchases. Investors therefore need to monitor their available balance to maintain their chosen schedule.

    Market Risks and Company Disclosures

SunCrypto described the service as intended for investors with longer holding periods who can tolerate price fluctuations. Its announcement refers to a time horizon of five years or more and positions crypto as a smaller allocation alongside other investments.

Nevertheless, scheduled buying leaves investors exposed to falling asset prices. Accumulating additional units during a decline does not ensure that prices will recover. The value of holdings can remain below the total amount invested, even after repeated purchases.

The company also said it tracks transactions and provides downloadable tax reports. These are platform claims in the announcement. The availability of such records does not establish an investor’s final tax liability or remove the need to assess applicable filing requirements.

SunCrypto is operated by Angelic Infotech Private Limited. The company stated that it follows India’s Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, and holds FIU-IND registration number VA00031314. That registration does not guarantee investment returns or protect users against losses.
